EXCERPT

I lunged forward, clearing all the contents off the table, to the floor. The sounds of the glass crashing onto the hardwood was mocking me… my heart shattering the exact same way.
It was everywhere and all around me. 
I couldn’t run. 
I couldn’t escape.
I had no one. 
I kept moving because I knew once I stopped I would crash, and possibly never get back up again. I darted around the dining room, my feet stomping with every step, leaving a path of destruction in their wake. Throwing candles, dishware, and chairs. Flipping the table over. I went after anything I could find, demolishing the perfect night. 
“I hate you! I hate you!” I yelled, punching the mirror that I caught my reflection in. Not even flinching from the pain. I repeated that mantra over and over, letting it sink
into my pores, and making it become a part of me. Destroying everything in my path, the future I would never have. 
I pulled my hair back, taking in the destructive scene before me. “Get yourself together,” I rasped, making my way to the bar. Taking four swigs of whiskey from the head, not bothering with a glass, and repeating it several times until the bottle was empty, and I felt nothing but the burn through my body. 
I couldn’t take it anymore. I grabbed another bottle, wanting to drown myself in the amber liquid. Leaning my whole body against the wall, I started sliding down, wallowing in the despair of what my life had become. I don’t know how long I sat there, drinking my life away when I heard the front door open, footsteps coming my way.
“Sophia?” I slurred. 
A part of me hoped that it was somebody that was coming to put me out of my misery.

for me it got better as I read. I love this story from book 1 so it was a must to continue. I love the authors writing and I can not wait for her other books. It is full of angst and its definitely a dark series. but everyone's darkness is different. She created a story here and you should read it.

Shhh Gianna's Side By M Robinson

 

 

I am taking moment to review this book. I loved it like I knew I would. Lots of emotions from all characters had my mind stressed. That's what I love when I read. I don't think this one is as dark as Macks side by Jetti Woodruff but some parts can be. I recommend you to read first "Shhh Macks side before Gianna's side although you can read them both as standalone but I think its best you read this one second. It involves lots of craziness, betrayal and sex. Definitely a mature book for 18+

 



Shhh Mack's Side by Jettie Woodruff

I knew I was going to like this book before I even read it. I fell in love with a twisted story few months ago written by Jettie Woodruff so I knew that I was going to love this one. I always had a close family member with this illness that was talked about in this story. I never understood it but this book helped me see things clearer. I wish I would have been more compassionate before this book but I definitly will be more understanding now. I understand the illness better now, thank you Jettie Woodruff (you are awesome)

The story was well written and I pictured the scenes like if I was watching it on tv. I felt twisted myself too, I felt every emotion the characters were going through. I loved it and I know you will too.

There is the second book that follows which is Shhh Gia's side which I can not wait to start.
