Wow! That was an intense read. This was an intriguing dark erotica story between Nikki & Eric. It was dark, gritty, sad, heartbreaking and yet endearing some moments. And this story isn't for the faint of heart.If you are sensitive to reading about mental illness, rape, suicide or murder this book is not for you. However, the dark and disturbing nature of this book is what makes it good for those who love dark books. Nikki has a dark secret which has caused her to become a medicated, anti-social, suicidal pain addict Nikki’s mother arranges an “accidental” meeting between Nikki and a mysterious Dr. Eric Brenton, who also has a dark secret. After her mother’s death, Eric vows to take care of Nikki in his own way. He introduces her to his world. He shows her that he is the only medication that she will ever need. Nikki finds a new addiction in Eric.
This is not your typical “everybody falls in love and lives happily ever after” kind of novel. I couldn’t put this book down. I couldn’t wait to find out what happened next!
